The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed in regards to the substantial range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support issue developed for intervention encounters a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
